We are a professionally diagnosed system. Diagnosed at 16. We are currently in and out of treatment due to a lapse in health insurance. We do not wish to intergrate.

The Mystic System is a system made up of practicing witches, supernatural entities, and alters interested in evolving conspiracies. Anything mystical tends to be up our alley. We work with each other and with others to try and gain understanding and perspective amongst the universe.

Ace

Bio

Ace originally formed as an alter in late 2016 - early 2017, and went dormant around mid-2018. Due to the pressure of entering a work environment with a person we share trauma with combined with active isolation, he's exited dormancy. He's a very sarcastic individual with an energy that resides between Ross' nonchalant attitude and Cyprus' easily excitable personality. He very much associates himself with the body he has in the webcomic he is from (Colorless), and because of that has intense reactions towards the body's reflection. Otherwise a fairly easy-going guy.

Likes: His mask, completing tasks, cracking jokes, smoking

Alec Aether

Bio

Alec is a male alter that takes on the abusive traits of the body's father. He's Alyx's twin, and tends to be more physically aggressive than they are. He is a persecutor in function because his actions lead to increasingly strained relationships within the system and outside of it. He places the body in harms way mostly from lack of thinking before acting. As the systems relationship with the body's father has grown more positively, Alec's behavior has started to tone down and shift along with it.

Alyx Aether

Bio

Alyx is a genderless alter that takes on the abusive traits of the body's mother. They are Alec's twin, and they're more focused on emotional and mental manipulation. They find great joy in blowing up on people and picking out their weak spots, especially if the person is or was reliant upon a host or the system as a whole. Oftentimes in efforts to combat their behavior and rip power away as a persecutor the system will gracefully accept the consequences of their actions with minimal complaint. This is never done in a way to support their actions, or seem "pleased" with results, but merely to end an episode they're having.

Cyprus Aether

Bio

Cyprus is the main host of the system, but is not the "original" personality present. Ne formed after the previous main host, Echo, and the previous gatekeeper, Star, integrated. Their integration formed Cyprus, and ne now handles day to day life and builds most of the connections the system has. Ne is the "face" of the system. Ne has 2 ages listed because fronting day to day has made nym adjust to how the body is perceived in certain ways, including the body's age. In headspace Cyprus is 22 years of age, this can cause some mental dissonance as the way ne behaves in headspace vs with the body's peers is far different.

Petra

Bio

Petra is a bi-gender alter that serves as primary protector of the system, and as a caretaker for the littles in the system. Petra is a fictive of Misty Day from AHS Coven, but does not fully identify with her source material. One of her biggest struggles is seeing herself as her own person, and not solely as a healer. She acts as a co-host in times where Cyprus and Ross cannot front. She has an over exaggerated southern accent and a propensity for pet names.

Pixie

Bio

Pixie is a fragment of Petra and because of that exists purely in the headspace. Pixie is selectively mute, only really speaking to Petra and choosing to "speak" with the rest of the system through images, feelings, colors, and delivered notes via Petra. We as a system don't know much about Pixie as they are our newest addition to the system. They do appear as a genderless fragment, and believe they're a faerie. They function as a therapist for Petra by allowing her to vent safely and compartmentalize without Petra worrying other members of the system. Pixie also acts as a companion for Petra to lower suicidal ideation and lives with Petra in the Headspace.

Ross Metcalf

Bio

Ross is a male alter that ages with the body. He is the first alter to split from the "original" personality, and has had his roles move around time and time again as the system grows. He's incredibly apathetic and is selective around the relationships he builds. He also has low energy, but is the first alter to take over in place of Cyprus when ne is no longer able to. When Petra becomes overwhelmed he will often front as next in line and appear checked out to shut a situation down.

Sierra Metcalf

Bio

Sierra is the "original" personality within the system. Currently she remains as the only alter that can front, but chooses not to. She does not age with the body, and communicates intermittently with specific alters. She holds the childhood sexual trauma and is prone to flashback episodes that cause a system-wide blackout due to her placing a lot of pressure onto the body and brain.

Stefán

Bio

Stefán is a male alter that functions as the internal self helper of the system. He does front, but not nearly as often. Stefán believes he's a vampire and claims his body is 23 years of age. Outside of this he's known to be an age slider. Stefán routinely acts as a therapist for the system and is the only alter with no communication barriers among anyone within the system.

Thomas "Timmy"

Bio

Thomas is a little alter that holds all of the physical abuse the system went through. The system collectively calls him Timmy for no real reason. He can read and write, but has a small stutter to his voice and tends to speak very quietly. He has authority issues and will not listen to any "adult" outside of the system, oftentimes going out of his way to do the opposite of what he's told. Tends to have interests that don't align with his age.

Violet

Bio

Violet is a female alter that poses as a sexual persecutor. She feels as though she has succubus-like qualities and often places herself in situations where she'll be seen as a sexual object. Oftentimes after having sexual intercourse her mood will become incredibly erratic as she swings through homicidal thoughts on her partner, and suicidal thoughts that put the body at risk. She's been known to trigger flashbacks by being co-conscious with Sierra.

Our system's headspace is built like a neighborhood with mismatched features. Alter's reside in different areas of the neighborhood, and some are free to travel the neighborhood as they wish or as needed.

The Apartments

Description

Every alter that lives in the apartments has their own copy and pasted studio apartment that they live in. Most often they tend to rotate crashing in one another's apartments rather than sleeping alone.

The Duplex

Description

Alec and Alyx both live on one side of a mirrored duplex. Both of the twins used to solely front together or with Cyprus, and because of this choose not to live in the apartments. Alyx never leaves their side of the duplex when in the headspace, and only allows Stefán in on rare occasions to talk. Alec allows other alters to visit, but as he grows into a more independent person he spends less and less time on his side of the duplex.

The Group Home

Description

The group home acts as a catch-all area for alters. Violet and Thomas stay in the group home currently. Violet lives there to keep the home mostly clean while she situates herself from coming out of dormancy. Thomas lives in the group home as a way to keep life in the place and help incoming alters settle within the system. Petra visits the group home often to care for and provide entertainment to Thomas.

The Community Center

Description

The community center is broken down into different rooms, most are dusty and no longer serve purpose. Sierra was the only permanent resident of the community center, and chooses to stay in the dance hall because of her love for ballet. Blanca now resides in the community center with Sierra, providing her a long-term companion. Cyprus, Ross, and Stefán are allowed to come into the community center and spend time with Sierra to keep her mind occupied and prevent flashbacks when possible. Otherwise the community center is inactive and closed off to the rest of the system.
